“If a person receives a massage regularly,
his body is not affected by injury or hard work.
His physical structure becomes strong, flexible and attractive. Through this habit the aging process is slowed down.” Charaka Samhita
Nadesh Ayurveda offers half-a-day or full-day private or small group Ayurvedic massage classes.
An Ayurvedic massage is a very deep massage, able to stimulate into the perceiver the most hidden energies. On a physical level, it leads to a deep relaxation of all muscles, a better functioning of all internal organs and physiological aspects; on a mental level, it allows serenity, lightness and clarity.
Not only the perceiver benefits from an Ayurvedic Massage, but also the practitioner , as it enhances the natural attitude of taking care for others, promotes empathy and stimulates self-awareness.
The course is a glimpse over the ancient Indian massage tradition, with a special attention to the approach towards a massage in accordance with the Ayurvedic principles.
During the course participants will begin to familiarize with the concept of doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and learn the manual skills of some partial massages (e.g. feet and legs, hands and arms, head, neck and shoulders) to be performed with typical Ayurvedic oils.
The course is designed for persons who are attracted by massage and oriental disciplines or who simply want to learn something new and stimulating.
